I received my textbook today. Do I just start reading the book?
No! Once you receive your textbook, log in to AHCA/NCAL Gero Nurse Prep. Click on Introduction to Course and scroll down to the section When You Receive Your Textbook and complete the Textbook Acknowledgement Statement.
After registering your textbook and completing the pre-test, all of the modules will be available so you can begin your work anytime.
You DO NOT need to begin reading the textbook until you log in to the course. You will not be reading the entire book, only select readings assigned in each module that are focused on content covered on the certification exam. Reading the book cover to cover may delay your progress in AHCA/NCAL Gero Nurse Prep.
